The Internal Quality Audit (AMI) is a quality assurance evaluation activity conducted by the Institute for Quality Assurance (LPM) regarding the implementation of UNPAR’s Quality Standards. AMI is conducted by internal auditors under the responsibility of the Head of the Quality Assurance Institute. In general, the Internal Quality Audit process involves the following stages:
- The auditee (study program or non-academic unit) completes the provided AMI instrument.
- Two certified auditors review the completed instrument and hold a meeting with the auditee to review and validate the audit results, as well as to communicate findings and best practices.
- The auditee conducts a Management Review Meeting and develops a Follow-up Action Plan (RTM-RTL).
Since 2024, AMI activities for academic units have been implemented through the SIAMI system. User guidelines can be viewed by clicking the “AMI Guide” button above.
Instruments
Academic Units
AMI instruments for academic units vary for each study program, depending on their type:
- Doctoral Program
- Master’s Program
- Bachelor of Medicine Program
- Other Undergraduate Programs
- Diploma Program
However, in general, the questions are divided into four sections:
- Standard A: Education
- Standard B: Research
- Standard C: Community Service
- Standard D: UNPAR-Specific
The instruments for each academic unit can be viewed on SIAMI using the personal account of each study program head.
Supporting Units
AMI instruments for non-academic units vary for each unit, depending on the unit being audited.
However, in general, the questions in the AMI instrument consist of two sections:
- Closed-ended questions, which must be completed by the auditee accompanied by written evidence.
- Open-ended questions (in-depth interviews), which are completed by the auditor during the audit, but the auditee is required to provide written evidence as supporting documentation.
